Video Writing Program

“Writing is magical!” Any video writing program that can make my kid declare that writing is magical is getting huge thumbs up from this Mamma. Kendra's review of Byline for homeschool writing.

Last year I was in a real quandary about what to do for writing with my boys. I don’t know about you, but this is one subject I really struggle to find a good fit for. Some programmes are just too intense, others not intense enough. Morgan, our eldest, has used Cover Story previously from Clear Water Press (CWP), and he’d really enjoyed his time

Writing & Rhetoric: Commonplace

If you're looking for a solid, easy to teach writing program, take a look at the Writing & Rhetoric series from Classical Academic Press.

Classical Academic Press is one of my favorite resources for quality homeschool curriculum (and you don’t have to follow the Classical method to use their products!). They offer materials and resources for the expected Classical subjects like Latin and Logic but also offer other programs for grammar, poetry, Bible study, foreign language, and one of our favorite series – the Writing & Rhetoric program. You’ll find wonderful programs for grammar, foreign languages, poetry, Bible study, and, of course, writing. We’ve tried a handful of writing programs (with varying success) but the one program that we always return to is the Writing & Rhetoric series from Classical Academic Press. We’ve

The Art of Argument {from Classical Academic Press}

The Art of Argument Review

Do you teach logic in your homeschool? When we first began homeschooling I didn’t realize there was such a subject to teach but now it’s one of our favorite classes thanks to Classical Academic Press! Their course, The Art of Argument, is a wonderful introduction to logic – focused on teaching informal fallacies. Classical Academic Press ‘Classical Subjects Creatively Taught’ is the motto at Classical

Writing & Rhetoric: Narrative I

It’s no secret that I LOVE the Writing & Rhetoric series from Classical Academic Press. We’ve tried many different writing programs and this is at the top of our favorite curriculum list – even my daughter would agree!
