Homeschool Piano Instruction with Hoffman Academy

I grew up playing the piano. Much to my dismay, my oldest wanted to play the violin. This meant paying for someone else to teach her. It meant the drive to and from and time out of the house. Violin lessons outside the house were wonderful (because we loved the teacher so much) but they were time consuming and often disruptive to our schedule. Jump ahead a few years and I was teaching my other children to play the piano, but I really wanted more formal piano instruction for them. I found Homeschool Piano Instruction with Hoffman Academy at just the right time!

Homeschool Piano Instruction with Hoffman Academy

With Hoffman Academy for homeschool piano instruction your children will learn to not only play the piano, but also be competent music readers and have an understanding of music theory, technique and more. They will learn to read rhythms, improvise, sightread, and play by ear too!

There are currently 11 Units with over 200 lessons, taking your child from the beginning and progressing through more in-depth concepts.

What We Love About Hoffman Academy

Home Study – First and foremost I love that we never have to leave the house for my daughter to learn to play the piano. (Yes, I could be teaching her myself but she does SO much better on her own time and her own terms).

Flexible – Want to do only 1 lesson each week and have your student practice the other days? You can! Want to let your child move through lessons at their own pace, starting a new lesson when they feel comfortable? You can do that too!

Online – You know what I love about online programs? They are more likely to be updated than programs you bought on cd. That means you get the latest and best the program has to offer, all the time!

Video Lessons with Mr. Hoffman himself! – Mr. Hoffman does all of his lessons. Roll the video and find him sitting at the piano ready to teach your lesson! (While it isn’t live, it feels personal.)

Affordable – For less than the cost of one piano lesson you get a whole month of access to the full Premium Hoffman Academy! PLUS each additional student you have pays half price!

Printables – All the sheet music is available to print, as well as music theory worksheets to go along with each lesson.

Audio – Beyond the video lessons there are separate audio tracks professionally recorded for listening and playing along .

Games – There are interactive games for the kids to earn points and level up in four different skills: staff reading, rhythm, music theory, and ear training.

So if you are looking for Homeschool Piano Instruction I highly recommend checking out Hoffman Academy. It has saved us time and money, and allowed my daughter the freedom to work at a pace that suits her…from the comfort of our home.
